The Conglomerate That Sucks Out Happiness - Revisited

There are always meetings for the Bigs. And the Bigs seem like the idea that they have meetings to attend, on discussing topics one may suggest as redundant, or having talks on how much money they have to put out from their banks just to clear out the deposit for their new homes. Or mumbling rubbish about the Person who does not comform to the regulations they have engraved on every wall of the Conglomerate. They favor such things, as what they say

"We generate money and the brand we sell gives you money you never imagined you can get anywhere else

"And in thus speaking, we are far from submitting that we over utilized your capacity in performing works. We appreciate every single thing that you have done. The Conglomerate would crumble without you. But I am more than willing to remind you People, job matters should not be crossed over with your personal interest. They are two different identities like oil and water, so to speak"

The People sure feel the same way too. And for the course of a few months later, things are going well, the projected expectations The People have in their minds. The People happy and the Bigs are clinking glasses celebrating every penny that goes into their thick pockets.

Out of nowhere, they see dark clouds shading their everyday sunny day. The world economic weather put a huge slump in the Bigs' throats, they almost choke for air. They look for possible solutions to eleviate the burdens that suddenly fall on their shoulders, but prevail none.

"I may say to you calmly, that we are in a serious economic condition right now. You know, Bush stupid monetary policies and what not, now people are scared to buy things. And that leads to one particular conclusion, we have to do some abrupt changes in our organization to keep you breathing", explains the Big's Big.

"I must confess that I become rather alarmed on how you're going to make that materialize? I believe head count needs to be slashed and due to that aforementioned statement, I am bewildered, who are that Unfortunates?"

"In pursuance to this view, we have of course drawn some plans to make things work out. Worry not, we will get through this"

Next, The Conglomerate That Sucks Out Happiness - Doom's Day

Melayu Mudah Lupa

I am somewhere in Perak now. And it is sunset at this time. Darkness slowly engulfs the ray of the evening sun. And being alone on the bench, just a few meters away from a place I call home, hearing no sound other than the rain hitting hard on the tin roof, invoke a sense of melancholic in me. Just a few hours ago, I complaint this place was so hot, an egg could be fried easily if left untouched on the sand. And now as water drops slowly dispersing heat from the barracade of a stack bricks, from the plywood walls, from the ground of many colors, the atmosphere feels a lot more comfortable and i feel the joy of good welcome back home.

Whining about things you used to go through when you were a kid, just a little unjust for me. And I was whining. About how hot this place could be, how uncomfortable it was to stay indoor. Somehow, I didnt realise what I said was purely hurting them, the parents, the siblings, the relatives, the persons I thought would pass the message I conveyed like a thin scent of a rotten egg in the air.

I feel sorry now for myself. Of becoming a person who never satisfies with what I have. Of forgetting the rough times I used to go through, many yonks ago. Of completely dismissing the root of where I came from.

To quote Chedet,

"Melayu mudah lupa"

Old Folks Watch AI

Had a quick glimpse onto my torrent list. The AI finished downloading. I watched it.

And hands down, AI Season 8 may be one of the best seasons ever! I am absolutely rooting for the Kalamazoo boy, Matthew Scott Giraud. His voice such a breath of fresh air.

Norah Jones should now feel bugged as Jesse Langseth may be the one who will dethrone her down. Cute girl with a super cool voice that is.

Ooh and I heart heart big time Adam Lambert.

It is hard to find somebody who can actually sings, these days right? As I played The Cure in my iPod and sang it gleefully in the office, someone interrupted

"Going back to those days, eh?"

I took out the earphones out of my ears, turned around with a smile and said

"I know, you infants just too young to understand"

I am never too young to listen to The Cure and never too old to not to watch American Idol. Because time is moving, and never gets old.

Will You?

What was the most daring act you have done in your life to snatch a (total stranger) man's heart?

Well, I flirt. I had this thought to pass him my card. That the image of him tearing the card into pieces and threw it out of the window, sent a shiver down my spine.

But, I did flirt, today. He looked back at me actually. He struggled to split the attention he had to give to his friends, and to me.

The friends won. But still I had my share. When he finished his evening snack, he got up and walked pass by me, shot a quick glance, and got into his car.

I missed another chance today. As what I said, you can call me stupid. Any words. But I still do not have the courage to wake up, and stand up and tell him

"Will you be my date tonight?"

When will it be?

The Closeted Daughters Of The Kaprovski's Family

The light shone on the wall by an array of fluorescent tubes, prevailed the surface of a poor finishing by an amateur handy man. There, hanged a wooden frame just a few inches away from the exit door which an evidence of aging showed an obvious remark on the picture.

A man - a few years shy to 30 - induced an obtuse look, gazing deep into the painting, his eye balls stayed static in the sockets, with a cloud of judgmental opinion radiated by the wrinkles on his forehead. There was a certain gesture that suggested he knew the man on the wall, but with a faint memory he had kept throughout his years of breathing, he lost in a swarm of many faces.

At the end of a long stretch hallway, 30-meter apart from the wall, a woman's silhoutte in a classic 70's gown appeared gracefully from ray of the descending sun that went through the door on that very evening of Tuesday in March 1998 in a mansion of Mr. Abigail Laprovski. She stood still. With no hint of the slightest move. At times, the wind passed by made the dress looked wavy, draping the body of the woman, giving an idea how curvy she was.

The man lost in his made-up thoughts.

"Some say he had been strangled to death. Eyes almost popped out. Eerie"

The woman walked pass through a line of multicolor vases, with buds of flowers showed signs of almost bloom in nearer time. The tapping sound from her green heels reverberated through the hall, almost harmonic. She stopped just a few feet away from him. She turned around, finding for herself a chair.

"As far as I could remember, this place has never been this dusty. There will be a morning, at least once a week, Amber will come and sweep all this grime and dirt. I wonder who takes care of all these flowers"

The man no longer in his deep thought. He stood on his place like a nail hammered in the wood.

"You don't have any idea what had happened to her, do you?" the man broke his voice. Coarse and manly.

"Well, certainly I don't"

"She was looking for you", the voice still in its composure. He was nonchalantly turned his back, examining her face as if she was the one who murdered Fred. And then he continued

"Fred was a good man too"

To be continued

Smile

There will be an awkward moment the next morning when you did something silly the night before you went to sleep. You asked an online friend what should you do.

He said "Reply him. This is the exact moment you've been waiting all of your life"

"Well, I do not really know. It is getting quirkier the moment we look at each other. At times, I regret that I did that. Somehow, I love this feeling"

"Get the loose screws in your head tightened"

Ooohh I'd die.

Diet

There are a few choices of meal that I can choose to have tonight.

1- A burger sold on a stall that can be easily found by the street.
2- Fruits and milk.
3- Not consuming at all.
4- Eat my heart out.

I dreamt of number 1 last night. Derived from the missed lunch during the day.
I love fruits and milk. But not really the dish to die for tonight.
I am not on diet.
I am all for #4. There's a man and I am speechless. You not need to tell me that I am a moron, because I know it already.

Cuddling a bear and covered under a thick blanket seems a whole lot better. I am getting back to old me. A Bitch that whines, all over again.

Sunshine

I know it was only a message. An email. A quick glance. I never hoped anything more than that. But if it was, I would be the happiest human being on Earth.

See, a game of hook and reel never been this heart pounding. If I am this crazy solely because of an email that says anything mushy, I will be dead if he even smiles at me.

I have already seen this perk coming. And I never want this thing to end up.

Because at least I know I have this hope in my heart, for a man that may never come my way.
